Six Hertfordshire Wedding Venues

Six Hertfordshire Wedding Venues

Being among the finest photo-booth services in Hertfordshire, we’re well-positioned to comment on the county’s wealth of high-class wedding venues. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been looking at some of the grandest establishments from the Home Counties we serve. This time, we’re going to be looking at Hertfordshire: the home of Watford FC, the ‘Magic’ Roundabout and the Harry Potter Studio Tour. So, let’s take a look!

Hunton Park

We kick off our list with one of the county’s most popular venues: a gorgeous Queen Anne Mansion House, boasting classically Georgian white columns at the front and a stunning marquee. It can accommodate up to 700 guests on a front lawn (a little fewer if you’re going to be sitting in a banquet arrangement.)

Fanham’s Hall

This country house in Ware provides for a range of wedding setups – from the traditional to the exotic. It’s a Grade-II listed Jacobean manor house whose history dates back to the 15th century, and it’s been maintained to a stunning standard. The 27-acre grounds will provide an incredible setting for your celebrations!

Moor Park Golf Club

Golf clubs make inherently great wedding venues, since they always come with sprawling grounds attached and bar facilities that can accommodate large crowds. This one is a cut above the rest, however; it’s based in an eye-popping 17th-century mansion, packed with period paintings and statues, and other trimmings. In other words, it’s a big, posh building that’ll lend your ceremony the required touch of elegance!

Pendley Manor Hotel

Here we have another grade-II listed manor, which exhibits all that’s great about Victorian architecture and which offers a number of gorgeous rooms in which to exchange your vows, along with three different catering packages to suit a range of budgets. Set within thirty-five acres of immaculate parkland and woodland, this little retreat is a perfect location for weddings and other special occasions.

West Lodge Park Hotel

You’ll find this picturesque wedding venue at the end of a tree-lined drive into the Hertfordshire countryside, where it sets within thirty-five acres of natural beauty – alongside a world-class arboretum. There are a few different suites to choose from, each offering suitably plush surroundings for the reception. Or, if you’d prefer, there’s the marquee option!

Ponsbourne Park

We’ll wrap up by mentioning Ponsbourne Park, which at the time of writing is undergoing a £5 million renovation. It’ll be taking bookings from Spring 2019, after which it’s sure to be better than ever. The 17th-century house provides a remarkable balance between the classic and the contemporary, and there’s a garden suite and gazebo with capacity for up to ninety if you’d like to conduct the ceremony out in the open.

Hertfordshire, like the other Home Counties, has a great deal to offer the married-couple-to-be. It’s home to plenty of sprawling countryside, but at the same time it boasts fantastic transport links with London (and the rest of the country). Pick a venue here, and you’ll give your friends and family the best possible chance of being there to make your day as unforgettable as it should be. And, suffice to say, if you want to make the day even more unforgettable, you’ll want to bring a photo-booth onsite – so make sure you contact us to sort one out ahead of time!
